New ExpressKeys and Touch Strips provide substantial productivity enhancements that greatly speed up workflow in a wide variety of graphics intensive applications. The integrated set of customizable ExpressKeys (default to keyboard modifiers Ctrl & Alt for Windows / Command & Option for Macintosh, plus Shift and Space) are "chordable" - multiple keys can be held down simultaneously for even greater efficiency; and can be easily customized in the Wacom tablet Control Panel. In addition, the new finger-sensitive Touch Strips allow users to zoom, scroll, or perform custom keystroke actions like changing brush size in Adobe® Photoshop®. All this can now be done without having to move to the keyboard, by the touch of a finger right there on the working surface.

The Pen is cordless and battery-free for reliable and consistent operation. Both the pen tip (T) and eraser (E) feature 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity for precise image editing, accurate selections, and the finely controlled application of effects and filters.

When you use multiple pens and/or airbrush, Cintiq 21UX will recognize each device's preconfigured settings, saving time in productive environments.

Cintiq 21UX includes 3 different pen nibs - "Standard pen nibs (3 pcs)", a "Stroke nib" that includes a dual-spring action for extended tip travel and a more brush-like response, and a "Felt nib" that is formulated to increase the friction between the pen tip and the tablet surface, resulting in more of a "pencil on paper" feel.
